FLOWBOX is a Czech company that, since 2012, has been helping businesses, buildings, and cities optimize and manage their energy through our software platform. We focus on developing advanced tools that enable more efficient data-driven management of energy flows, cost reduction, ESG goal achievement, and CO₂ reduction. Our aim is to help companies achieve maximum operational efficiency while minimizing their environmental impact without unnecessary additional costs.

Our Story: From Home Experiment to Energy Revolution
In 2012, Petr Vaněk, then Head of Research and Development at T-Mobile CE, decided to digitalize the technology in his house, creating a smart-home system prototype before such solutions became standard. His successful prototype inspired him to extend this technology to the industrial sector, where he established partnerships with early customers, including the visionary company Baumruk & Baumruk. Soon after, Tomáš Macák joined forces with Petr, forming a strong team that began expanding the platform into other areas, including Real Estate and Smart Cities. In 2018, Tomáš Rendla joined the team, taking FLOWBOX to a global level. We're proud that our solutions are used by global companies such as Assa Abloy and AGC, and that our innovative approach has earned us a place in the Gartner Market Guide for EMOS. None of this would have been possible without the amazing team of people behind FLOWBOX.
