One of the Czech Republic's most influential business media has taken notice of the FLOWBOX story.
E15.cz published an in-depth interview with our CEO Pavel Jiránek — tracing the journey from founder Petr Vaněk's original idea of monitoring energy consumption in his own home, all the way to becoming a technology partner of Eaton, an American giant with over $27 billion in annual revenue.

The story is about being ready when the moment comes. The energy crisis of 2022 sharply accelerated demand for smart energy management in buildings. FLOWBOX was ready — and that same year took home the title of European Startup of the Year. Two years later, analyst firm Gartner listed us as the only Czech company in its Hype Cycles and Market Guide for EMOS. That's what caught Eaton's attention.
A year and a half of negotiations, legal, financial and technical due diligence, 15 pilot installations across three continents — all of that came before the signing. In the interview, Pavel speaks openly about the cost of the process: a significant share of the team's capacity was directed away from our existing customers. We say that without excuses.
The result is a partnership that gives FLOWBOX access to Eaton's global distribution network — and with it, entry into the North American market, where Eaton holds a dominant position in industrial energy management. Our software will be offered under the Eaton brand outside Europe. In Europe, we continue under our own name.
