This year we partnered with Eaton and are building Flowbox 2.0.

Frontend is getting significantly more weight and we need an experienced colleague to help us build it and take real ownership.
You'll have genuine influence on the architecture and technical decisions.

What's team like?

The team is led by CTO Juraj Longauer. There are currently six of us. Backend, frontend, DevOps, and QA.
You'll collaborate closely with product. We have a strong technical foundation that we're now structuring into a product. There's room to build, experiment, and make decisions.

We work in Claude Code, YouTrack, GitLab, communicate via Slack, and use AI tools where they make sense.

What's it like here?

• The frontend team is small and there's room to grow.
• You'll work with the backend team (PHP/Laravel), product, and QA.
• We're transitioning to a SaaS product.
• We have a strategic partner, Eaton, which means more room for quality work and fewer quick fixes.

What you'll be doing?

• Daily collaboration with PM. You'll build components that let them prototype quickly without needing you.
• Working on the Design System (Storybook, components).
• Developing frontend UI for an IoT platform (dashboards, real-time visualizations).
• Code review and backend collaboration.
• Stack: TypeScript, React, Webpack, REST API, Zustand, Tanstack Query, Jest, Cypress, Highcharts.

What's essential?

• Experience with React (we use React + hooks pattern). TypeScript. We're currently transitioning from JS to TS.
• Webpack (build tooling).
• Working with REST APIs.
• Testing experience (Jest, Cypress).
• Ability to work independently, own features, and do code reviews.
• Fluent Czech, communicative English (documentation, Eaton partnership).

Nice to have?

• Experience building or maintaining a Design System (Storybook, component libraries, tokens).
• GraphQL.
• Real-time or data-intensive applications.
• Whitelabeling.
• Experience designing FE architecture.
• Product mindset. You know how to translate product needs into technical decisions and care about how your work fits into the bigger picture.

• How the FLOWBOX system and the entire energy management ecosystem works.
• IoT specifics. Protocols, real-time communication, edge computing.
• Internal processes and workflows.
