What you’ll do

• Develop a robust backend system using PHP, Laravel, or Rust
• Design integrations with a variety of IoT devices (Modbus, RS-485, ...)
• Work with MongoDB and MySQL databases
• Occasionally dive into Rust, especially for low-level components
• Collaborate on architecture, CI/CD (GitLab), and performance optimization
• Contribute to research in AI/ML for energy management and predictive analytics

Who we’re looking for

• A senior developer with strong experience in PHP (Laravel) and data-intensive applications
• Someone who enjoys the IoT world and understands basics of protocols like MQTT, Modbus, REST
• Bonus points for experience with Rust, MongoDB, Lua, or AI/ML algorithms
• Familiar with GitLab pipelines, test coverage, security checks, and Git best practices
• Czech/Slovak language is a must, English should be “IT-friendly”
